Young Investigator Award 2006

Finals


The Finals of the Young Investigator Award were hel on Wednesday 31 October at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Ms Cadence Minge was chosen as Young Investigator of the Year for her work on the relationship between high-fat diets and reproductive problems.

The finalists placements were as follows:

2nd   Dr Simon Wilksch

3rd   Dr Katie Tooley

At the finals, the three finalists presented their research in 'lay language' to a general audience and were judged by a media panel representing TV, radio and the press.

The Hon Paul Caica, Minister for Science and Information Technology representing the Premier, opened the Awards and presented prizes.
