The Young Investigator Award 2006

The Young Investigator Award, now in its seventh year, is a highly successful event rewarding excellence in South Australia's young researchers in both science and their ability to communicate and 'sell' that science. The Award is jointly sponsored by the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service and the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Adelaide.

**2006 Award winner! - Dr Catherine Gibson**

The 2006 Award Event was held on Thursday 2 November, 2006. The winner of this year's Young Investigator Award is Dr Catherine Gibson, for her work on the causes of cerebral palsy. Congratulations to Catherine, and to all of the other young South Australian researchers who took part in this year's awards. Read more about Dr Catherine Gibson's research.
