Through research, the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service (CYWHS) is making a critical investment in the future well-being of our community. Our research has a clear focus - to improve the health of individuals and populations by preventing illness and improving treatments.

CYWHS has a long and proud tradition as an organisation committed to evidence-based practice and research. It has achieved research breakthroughs that have contributed in a significant way to improved health and new methodologies.

We collaborate with many research organisations in Australia and overseas to enhance our research efforts. Our research is supported by internal and external funding from a variety of sources.
